At this point the growth and importance of the computer systems was discussed and it was decided by Computer Power Protection to recommend Milton Keynes Hospital to increase the system to a Powerware 9390 60kVA UPS with the addition of a second Powerware 9390 60kVA to give redundancy – N + 1. Both UPS are both fitted with SNMP Cards which gives the IT department real time information and alarm situations across the network.
